Leading the way in sustainable terminal operations
LBCT LLC stands at the forefront of marine terminal innovation, specializing in advanced stevedoring, cargo velocity, and speed to market, while reducing our carbon footprint.
It’s been three years since Long Beach Container Terminal adopted our ambitious plan to eliminate emissions and reduce community impacts by 2030, and we are excited to share the progress we’ve made in 2024 and continued into 2025. Our new report highlights a pivotal time of moving from planning to implementing our Net Zero program. We are ready to begin purchasing the additional clean vehicles and cargo handling equipment that will compete our transformation, and we are on the cusp of completing the designs for building the new charging infrastructure that will power our new fleet. As we shrink our carbon footprint, we are setting new productivity records. In 2024, LBCT moved more than 2.83 million TEUs more safely and sustainably than ever. We also continue to expand our initiatives to improve the quality of life of those who live and work in our community.
